Gunung Gading

30-oct-2005, 7am, our journey towards Gunung Gading National Park begun.
It is located within Lundu area, around 100km from Kuching, hmm, quite far..
It is famous with the Biggest Flower, Rafflesia. I purposely went there to see that flower, cause I heard it is glooming.

Weather in Kuching, crazy crazy recently, always raining, luckily that day is Sunny Day...

After 1 hour and 30 minutes, finally... we were arrived.... huuu...

Main Office, registered and bought ticket there, RM10 per person, same as Matang Wildlife Center.

Alright, lets start!! Target is to see Rafflesia !!
Ooopss... When we just about to start, we met an officer there, he told us: "Bunga dah buka, tapi kamu orang tak dapat lihat lah, kerana ia dalam Jungle Trek"

We were using Rafflesia Trail... hope can see it lah...

Found this little fellow, caterpillar, scared me... Again !!
Why I always been scared by this little thing, last time in Matang Wildlife oso... sien...

Aduh... Didn't see any flower... ARRGGG...
Turn a big round, went back to starting point...
However, we found this 'pond', I believe is human made pond, but the water is from the moutain stream, so is very clear, and very cold... nice nice nice....

Not manage to find tat Rafflesia, so we changed our destination, towards Waterfall no3.
Ok, lets Restart !!

Finally, we reached Waterfall no3... yeahh... very very tired... but when feel those cold and clear stream water... wow... refresh.... hahaha
However, we don't dare to swim there, coz water quite deep, although my skill very good, but after think of those whirlpools and 'some-one looking for replacement' :P haha.. better don't take risk lah :P

As the waterfall's water is too deep, so we went back to that human-made-pond to play water...
BUT!! That pond got alot of mosquitoes... I was surrounded by them$@#$#@$@# I HATE mosquitoes

Anyway, the water there really 'song', very very cold.. If not because of those clk mosquitoes, I will sure stay longer and not just 20 minutes... aiii sien... :(

Hmmm... this is the first time I see this... those hawkers setup their stall at the middle of main road.... hmmm... why still got ppl dare to buy ho.... in the middle of those cars, bikes, lorry, bus... those Black Smoke Producers... hmmm... won't lau sai meh?? hmm... dun understand.

Charity Fair at Salvation Army on 31 of August 2005, Malaysia's Hari Merdeka (Independence Day) !!!
I went there support support... RM10 !! Bought 2 ice-cream cups & 2 pots of Dragon Tongue.

Main Building, that litte booth is selling ticket.
In front there selling alot of old magazines and books.
Inside the building you can find alot of used anak-patung, lady-stuffs...
Behind it got alot of food stalls and clothes stalls...

btw... the arrangement of the flags is wrong, isn't it? :P If not mistaken, Malaysia Flag shd be in the middle... betul kah?

Matang Wildlife Center (MWC), around 40km from kuching, got some wild animals inside, all are inside their own enclosure / aviary, so don't worry, they won't jump to you and bite / eat you ;))

When I reached there, was a big hot sunny day, who know the rain came suddenly while I still inside the jungle (just before visit the Sun Bear Enclosure)... luckily it just a short one, big sun came out again after that :)

However, rain came again when I was preparing to go home (already reached the car park).. haha, forest weather, hard to forecast...

Kuching Museum: This time I didnt visit inside, just went to the nearby Aquarium and the garden.
That Aquarium, got fish (for sure), got crocodile, tortoise... then also has snake, bird... Monkey... chicken... ;))

My GRO office was having a Seat Arrangement on 28-May-05. All the colleagues from ground floor have to move to 1st floor (My floor), in order to free up the ground floor's room for common development area (or I called it computer lab). Kingwood Hotel in Sibu, this was my room, room no 317 (if not mistaken :P). Nice Breakfast, Nice swimming pool, but sayang lah no chance go show my swimming skill... was toooo busy... balik to hotel already past 10pm liao....
